Silvi Vann-Wall is a gender-diverse podcaster, journalist, award winning-writer and filmmaker from Melbourne.
They currently write for ScreenHub as their Film Content Lead, breaking news in the film & TV industry as well as reviewing movies and streaming series.
Recently they have assisted production on RMIT Culture Podcasts with students from the Master of Writing and Publishing, and they have mentored several emerging film critics with the Melbourne Women in Film Festival.
Their podcast Pill Pop was awarded a grant and co-production deal with The Wheeler Centre. They have also produced high-quality podcasts with both the University of Melbourne (Eavesdrop on Experts) and Swinburne University (Rise of the Superbugs).
As an accomplished interviewer and public speaker, Silvi is often sought after for their distinguished communication skills. You can see them hosting several free talks at ACMI this November (2024) for Godzillafest.
Their passions include film, TV, chronic illness, and video games.
In their spare time they enjoy travelling, dancing, singing, and improvised theatre.
